On 6 March 2025, Ariane 6, operated by Arianespace, successfully lifted off from French Guiana, carrying the CSO-3 satellite of the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA) and the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES), for the Air Force Space Command (CDE).
Perfect timing for the very interesting debate organised on 10 March 2025 at the Institut français des relations internationales (ifri) in Paris with Martin Sion, Executive Chairman, ArianeGroup, on the theme: ‘European industry facing the challenge of space defence’.
‘When Europe has confidence in itself, it succeeds’.
Ariane 6 is a programme developed by the European Space Agency (ESA). The next ESA Ministerial Council, ESA’s highest decision-making body, will be held in Bremen, Germany, in November 2025.
